How “tony” is that…

Having a day off during the work week, is a novel idea.  Not only does it help to break up the work week, but it also allows me to do ordinary things on a day when everything is open for regular business.  My spouse and I headed to a nearby town, for a lunch date at a “tony” cafe.  We like to try new  & quaint establishments for our get-a-ways, as it makes me feel mysterious.  I get a feeling of escape when I can do something like that, on a day when everyone else is working.
