It was quite a pother…

Coming from the Midwest, we are not familiar with creepy crawl creatures such as whats found in the southern regions. We met this little guy when we visited a friend in Florida, for the Daytona 500 in 2010. It was quite the pother when he crept up the screen door right next to our lounge chairs!

1.To worry; bother.

Origin: Pother is of unknown origin. It is not related to the word bother which did not enter English until the 1700s and is related to the word both .
