dozi: Paper flower tutorial
You can have a life filled with awe at any age. You can awake each morning, potentially inspired, centered, with a sense that many options and opportunities stretch before you. Awe is a power unto itself, and by its very nature transforms us. The best part is it is free, natural and continually available. All you need is the willingness to awaken to awe, and to do so by trying a new approach to life.

Not one Soul is going to be lost. In fact, there aren’t any lost Souls. The Soul always knows where it is. It just doesn’t care.
The Soul knows it is going to outlast your body, it knows it’s going to outlast the thoughts you’ve been having, it knows it’s going to go beyond the imagination, and your feelings have betrayed you for so long that it pays little attention to them. So why shouldn’t it be happy in these lower worlds?
Our misidentification causes us to go into the quandary of the mind to second-guess. And yet the Soul says, “I’m here, I’m present. I’m not over there. I’m here, I’m present. This is the moment.”

My Coleman has moved back home from Arizona, to be with the love of his life. When I say home, I mean within the state of Wisconsin. Anytime you can travel a couple of hours to see your kids, “they are home”.
Upon arriving back, the first thing this child did, was get down on one knee and propose to his college sweetheart. Now, I guess that means that sometime (no date yet) down the road I will be a “mother-in-law”, since she said YES.
How fortunate I am to have Heather be part of our family! And I’m hoping she feels the same.
I love you both; Coleman -n- Heather!
My Mom is a hoarder. She is the classic hoarder, not like the ones you see on the “Hoarders” show. My Mom collects and keeps everything, but she is a clean lady, and cleans her house often, like a mad-woman.
With the business I am in, I love the fact that my Mom is a hoarder. She is a very talented and crafty woman; needless to say, this is where I get my talents from. She has done every craft known to mankind on the face of this earth, and then some. Not only does she know everything about crafting, she HAS everything that has anything to do with crafting.
Last night I drove out to my parent’s house to borrow an extra-large cutting board to cut the paper for the 250+ wedding announcements I am doing. I forgot, her and Dad are on vacation!
YES….I got to go shopping. I let myself into the house and went shopping at my Mom & Dad’s house! I took my time and looked over all of the gobs of fabric, thread, pompom, patterns, ribbon, floss, ink, paint, glue, buttons, flowers, yarn, needles, etc, etc, etc. I pulled open a few drawers and found even more stuff that was marked with price tags from…a long time ago (the old-fashioned type)! After about 20 drawers, I decided that I’d better leave it alone, and go home. I needed to sleep, and if I kept opening drawers, I wouldn’t get any. With cutting pad in hand, I proceeded home, and am now on my way to finishing up the wedding invitations. Good thing too, because they have to be completed by Saturday (yes, this Saturday). I’ll post a picture of the invites after Saturday…
A while back Mom told me that she had a box of unused cards that she obtained from our local community drug store (unnamed). She said that when they did not sell, and they were out of date, they would just throw them away, so she has saved them for a few years now. When I saw that box, I thought I had hit the jackpot. Multiple unused cards (all alike) really trips my trigger. I am able to make multiple cards of the famous “Recycled Cards by JillCards, LLC” creations. By cutting up the UGLY cards, I have been able to reproduce BEAUTIFUL new Mother’s Day Cards!
How fun is that?
It really doesn’t take much to make my day! I’m pretty content that way. Photos of those cards will be posted later, but some can be seen on our official website (www.jillcards.com).
Well, I’m off to create. Hope you are having a good day as well!
